Our presenting team are a mix of broadcasters with over 50 years’ experience in the industry interspersed with new and aspiring presenters.
Well known presenters like Hendi, Paul Thomas, Davy Sims and John Paul are happy to help the next generation of broadcasters learn their craft and are as passionate about radio as they were when they first started “on the air.” Their programmes are surrounded by the “Slice Mix” – again a format missing from the Northern Ireland airwaves, happy to play classics from the 60’s and 70’s alongside the music of today.
The Slice Mix sound and feel is the same across the day – you know you’ll always get the same consistency with the Slice Mix, be it 3pm or 3am. If a song fits the station image we’ll play it.
The specialist shows on Slice include Electrick and Lockdown Legacy provide a dance strand to every Friday Night. The Kool Skool Disco every Saturday night, four hours of feel good music from across the decades presented by John Paul Ballantine in his own unique style. Be Bop Gold, three hours of non-stop 50’s and 60’s every Sunday lunchtime.
